PNPD Fellow in the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGeo), formerly PRODOC, at the Federal University of Goiás, Jataí campus. A member of the Research and Agroecological Experimentation Project for Productive Diversification and Food Security in Cerrado Areas, he holds a degree in Forest Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1998), a DEA in Societies, Planning, and Local Development from UPPA (2002), with a focus on planning and local development, and a Ph.D. in Geography and Planning from UPPA (2008). His work focuses on Local Development, Family Farming, Spatial Organization, Participatory Management, University Extension, Agroforestry, Environmental Education, Beekeeping with Stingless Native Bees, and Timber and Non-Timber Forest Management for Agroecological Use.
